Information we handle

We handle the account email and display name you provide, profile information, games and tournaments you create or join, uploaded profile images, sign-in and security events, and messages you send to support. We also process limited technical data such as IP address and request metadata to protect the service and apply abuse controls.

Google Maps Platform and location

Venue search is provided using Google Maps Platform. Search text, a short-lived autocomplete session token, and your location bias are sent through Shuttle Circuit to Google to return venue suggestions. Location is sent only after you choose “Near me”. We do not persist your precise browser location. When you select a Google Maps venue, Shuttle Circuit stores its place ID and refreshes venue details from Google Maps when they are needed.

Google processes this information under the Google Privacy Policy. You can deny browser location access and search by venue or city instead.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, publish the listings you request, operate player profiles, support game participation, protect users, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and communicate service or account information. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioural advertising.

Cookies and local storage

Shuttle Circuit uses an essential secure session cookie for signed-in accounts. The app can also use local or session storage for theme preference, install prompts, unfinished form drafts, and practice-score state. You can clear this browser storage in your browser settings.

Retention, sharing and security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or safety obligations, and resolve disputes. Information is shared only with infrastructure and service providers needed to operate Shuttle Circuit, when you make it public through a listing or profile, when legally required, or with your direction. We use access controls, encrypted transport, scoped credentials, and server-side authorization, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

You can edit profile information, choose profile visibility, deny location permission, remove an uploaded avatar, and ask us to access, correct, export, or delete information where applicable. Contact shuttlecircuit@tethrex.com.

Updates

We may update this policy as the service changes. A material update will carry a new effective date and, where appropriate, an in-product notice.
